A traffic-free closed course around the streets of Beverley where competitors race four laps of the towns cobbled street centre. The event is part of an evening of high class sporting action culminating in the British Cycling National Circuit Race Championships. Originally organised by Beverley AC up until 2006, then cancelled due to flooding in 2007, Kingston upon Hull AC have risen to the challenge of organising the roadrun with aspirations for the race to become one of the leading 5k's in the North. There is even a truck pull competition!

When is it?

4 laps of a 1250m loop. Barriers all the way around and Traffic Free

Parking and Toilets
There are several car parks in and around Beverley town centre. There will also be additional parking at Longcroft School and Performing Arts College, Burton Road, Beverley, East Riding of Yorkshire, HU17 7EJ. Longcroft School is approximately 1 mile from the start. There are toilets available at Longcroft School with public conveniences available just off Market Place and Wednesday Market.

The 2006 Bike Race was won by Olympic, World and Commonwealth medalist Rob Hayles

2009 Winner and course record holder Pete Riley, represented Great Britain in the marathon at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka
